The Year 6 Tag Rugby represented St Teresa’s well at the Tag Rugby Tournament at UCLAN sports arena. After winning two matches and losing two they came third overall. We are incredibly proud of their achievements.

Thu 01 Feb 2024 Mrs Dixon

The Year 6 Rugby team travelled to UCLAN once more to compete in more matches as part of the league matches for the division.

Unfortunately, one team did not turn up. The children played well against the second team and managed an 8-8 draw.

The teamwork and sportsmanship displayed by the team was outstanding. They were once again brilliant representatives of St Teresa’s.

  • Donkey Visit

    Mon 18 Dec 2023

Today we had a visit from the donkeys and the children all got a turn to ride the donkeys or to lead them on a walk. They had a great afternoon, although some got a little wet. The children enjoyed being able to experience what Mary would have experienced as she travelled to Bethlehem to await the arrival of Jesus at Christmas.

  • Mini skills

    Tue 31 Oct 2023

A group of six children from Year 1 and Year 2 went to Westview Leisure Centre to compete in a mini skills event.

The children worked well as a team and demonstrated resilience and determination as they made their way through the activities. They behaved impeccably and have made us very proud.

    Well done

  • Friday Football

    Fri 20 Oct 2023

During the half term a number of our Year 5 and Year 6 children have represented school as part of the mixed football team.

The team travelled to St Patrick's to take part a number of matches for each Friday evening that they attended.

The children played well and enjoyed the experience.

We are proud of the children and look forward to future matches.
