Fundraising for charity during Lent

During Lent, each of our classes was tasked with raising money for a worthy charity.  The children have taken part in a range of fun activities to raise money for charities chosen by the children themselves. Sycamore held a lunchtime bingo each day for a full week, Maple made and sold daffodils for Mothers Day, Cedar had an afternoon fairground on last Wednesday, Elm had a marvelous movie night and children wore their PJ’s to watch Boss Baby after school on Thursday. Little acorns and Oak sold home made biscuits at playtime last Friday and Birch children have taken part in a sponsored walk today.  We will update our website with the amounts donated to each charity as soon as we have the final totals, please remember to check back later.
