Oak parents – Is your child missing out?

Overall attendance for Oak class is currently 91.8% since September – significantly below the national target of 96%.  Good attendance can make a huge difference to your child by helping them:

• make friends and learn social skills
• build good habits for school and future learning
• play, learn and have fun
• develop in all areas

We all have a duty to keep children safe and protect them from harm and very poor attendance can
be an indication of neglect and be seen as a safeguarding issue.
