PE Kit (Update)

Dear Parents and Carers,

There are a lot of children who do not bring PE kits to school. PE is a compulsory part of the curriculum. As a school, we have to teach at least 2 hours of PE for KS1 and KS2. It is impossible to supervise children who are not dressed appropriately for PE. Please work with us to ensure that the children bring their PE kit to school and support us to help to educate the children about healthy lifestyles.

Our PE uniform is:

Purple school T-shirt (provided by school) and dark blue/navy shorts with pumps or trainers.

Navy tracksuit bottoms maybe worn in the winter or on religious grounds. Tights and leggings are not permitted for PE.

If you cannot find the PE kit, we do allow any T-Shirt and plain dark shorts to be worn with appropriate footwear as a short term solution.

Children who regularly do not have their kit in school will be given a warning and if there is no immediate improvement, a detention until 4 o’clock. Parents will be informed prior to the detention.

Many thanks for your support on this issue.

Mrs R Hughes
