Thank you – your generosity is making a difference!

We are incredibly proud of our children’s fundraising endeavors during Lent.  We received a lovely letter from Preston North CAP (Christians Against Poverty). Years 1, 2 and 3 have raised money for Derian house (a children’s hospice) and whilst the final total has not yet been calculated, Year 1 held an Easter raffle, and year 3 collected over £20 in 2 pence coins.  Year 4 raised over £40 for Macmillan Cancer, Emmaus (a homeless charity) will benefit from the fundraising efforts of Year 5  and Year 6 held a coffee morning on April 1st for their parents.  They did a raffle, guess the weight of the cake, guess the number of sweets and sold tea, coffee and cake to their parents and each other. They have make over £50 from their efforts. The money is going to a charity based at the Royal Preston Hospital called the Bereavement Support Group. Thank you and well done to everyone who took part.
