St Teresa's Catholic Primary School

Our Governors

Local Governing Body (LGB)

The job of the Local Governing Body at St Teresa’s is to work with the school on the school’s strategy and vision, planning, developing policies and keeping the school under review so that all our children achieve their full potential, whilst supporting the mission of the Mater Ecclesiae Catholic Multi Academy Trust.

Governors and the clerk mostly carry out their duties during evening meetings and may attend training sessions and seminars to help them do their job effectively. They also go into school to meet with the Head and other members of the management team and carry out classroom visits to monitor the subjects they have responsibility for.
