School Meals

Tasty and nutritious meals are provided daily by Lancashire Catering Services.  Our children are provided with a menu each week and are asked to choose what they would like to eat in advance. A hot meal is available each day but your child may also choose sandwiches or wraps.  You may choose to send your child to school with a packed lunch but we encourage all children to bring healthy food for their lunch.  Please ensure that packed lunches are brought into school at the start of the school day.  To help with planning, we need at least one weeks notice when children are changing from packed lunches to school meals and vice versa.

School meals are free for all pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. For Key Stage 2 children, school meals cost £2.35 a day which should be paid weekly (£11.75) in advance. 

If you are in receipt of certain benefits, it is vital that you register with Lancashire county council as the school receives significant additional funding for each of these pupils that is then used to enhance provision.  Please follow this link: https://www.lancashire.gov.uk/children-education-families/schools/free-school-meals
