Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
During the half term a number of our Year 5 and Year 6 children have represented school as part of the mixed football team.
The team travelled to St Patrick's to take part a number of matches for each Friday evening that they attended.
The children played well and enjoyed the experience.
We are proud of the children and look forward to future matches.
On Tuesday, 10th October, the children were given the chance to wear an item of green to show support for and give a talking point for World Mental Health Day.
They all took time out of their day to discuss about mental health and how they can improve and sustain their positive mental health. The children enjoyed different activities and taking part in chatting to their peers.
This work is continued to be supported each week by the delivery of MyHappyMind sessions during which the children learn about their brain and how it works, how to creative positive wellbeing for themselves and others around them. They thoroughly enjoy these sessions.
The football team represented us well in the Kids Cup competition at Play Football in Preston.
The children enjoyed the experience and said that they need to develop the skills they use when working as part of a team.
The children are going to work on passing ahead of future games they play.
Well done to the team that represented us today.
