Race for life - Cancer Research

 

We are taking part in Race for Life to hopefully raise some much needed funds for the research of cancer treatments. 
 
The 'race' will be completed on the track between the 23rd and 30th of November. 

Each class will complete different laps of the track travelling however they wish (skipping, hopping, walking, running etc). EYFS one lap, Year 1 two laps, Year 2 three laps, Year 3 four laps, Year 4 five laps, Year 5 six laps and Year 6 seven laps.
 
Upon completion each child will receive a medal.

FREE Family Festive Spectacular happening on Saturday 28th November, 10:30am-12pm

 

It includes Winter Arts and CraftsCard MakingFestive Bingo (with prizes of course) drumminggames, edible festive treat makingand more. PLUS- all families that register before hand with get a resource pack sent out in the post so they can take part in all activities from home.

Webinar for parents and carers of children and young people with SEND

Lancashire Adult Education are offering a number of short (3 weeks) online learning courses for parents.

 

  • The courses focus on key areas and skills to help you to support your child to ‘catch up’ and consolidate prior knowledge from their previous year at school. It will be full of opportunities for you to learn about how children are currently being taught English/ Maths in school and how to support your child's learning at home.
