Wearing our school uniform is important in achieving a sense of belonging and pride in the school. Children should come to school dressed in a smart and tidy manner. Please ensure that coats worn to school are suitable. All pupils are expected to wear the correct school uniform at all times (optional for nursery). It is the policy of the Governors that all children wear the uniform, which is as follows:
Boys: Purple school sweatshirt, emerald green school polo shirt, dark grey school trousers (short or long), dark socks and black shoes (strong, sensible school shoes)
Girls: Purple school sweatshirt or cardigan, emerald green school polo shirt, dark grey skirt or pinafore, white socks or dark tights in winter, black shoes (strong, sensible school shoes). Girls may wear dark grey school trousers. Summer Term only girls may wear a lilac and white checked summer dress.
PE Uniform: Purple school T-shirt and dark blue/navy shorts with pumps or trainers. Navy tracksuit bottoms maybe worn in the winter or on religious grounds. Tights and leggings are not permitted for PE.
From September, a lot more of our PE lessons will take place outside. To ensure that the children are warm and comfortable, we are suggesting that children have an outdoor kit in addition to the usual PE kit. The outdoor kit is optional and children will still need pumps, PE shorts and a school PE top for PE lessons. Children can wear a school jumper for PE lessons that take place outside, however this needs to be a second jumper which is part of their PE kit.
The outdoor kit:
Plain hoodie or jumper/sweatshirt (dark blue or black)
Plain tracksuit bottoms or plain leggings (dark blue or black)
All uniform items MUST be labelled with the child’s name.
School uniform can be purchased in town at any of the shops below.
