School Day

The school operates for 6.5 hours per day

The total time this amounts to in a typical week is 32.5 hours

8:00amBreakfast Club opens. Children must arrive before 8:25am
8:40am Doors open for children to go straight into their classrooms
8:50am Lessons start 
 

KS1 and KS2 have a morning break (10:15 - KS1 and 10:40 am KS2). 

Milk and fruit is provided for EYFS and KS1. 

11:40am Nursery children are collected from their classroom door. 
12:00pm

EYFS and Y1, 2 and 3 eat together in the hall then go out to play. 

Y4, 5 and 6 go outside to play and then come in to eat in the hall together. 

Children are all back in their classes ready to learn by 1pm. 

12:10pm

Afternoon session for Nursery starts. 

3:10pm 

End of the school day. All children in EYFS and KS1 to be collected from their classroom doors by an adult. If there is any change of carers the school should be informed in advance as to who will meet the child.

All KS2 children are dismissed from the KS2 corridor doors and, unless the school is told otherwise, are allowed to walk home unaccompanied.
